Victoria SC and Ajax SC registered wins in their respective matches of the Green Delta Insurance Premier Division Hockey League on Saturday.
In the day’s first match, Victoria SC defeated Bangladesh Police Club by four goals to nil at the Maulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium.
Jograj Singh of Victoria SC scored two goals and his teammates Pushpindor Singh, Sheikh Sahibaz netted one goal each,
In the day’s second match, Ajax SC thrashed Azad SC by 8-2 goals at the same venue.
Rahat Sarwar, Laxmindor Singh scored two goals each and their teammates Gurprit Singh, Hridoy Anas, Shihab Hossain, Nazmul Hasan successfully struck one time each on the board.
On the other hand, Dabashish Roy, Asgor Ali scored one goal each for the losers.
