12 to die for killing of college student

UNB, Tangail :A court here on Tuesday sentenced 12 people to death for killing a college boy of Bhuapur upazila in 2014.The name of the condemned convicts could not be known immediately.Among the 12 convicts, four remained absconding.According to case statement, the convicted people attacked the house of Lal Miah at Bhaloktia village of the upazila on April 13, 2014 over previous enmity.Later, they beat the college boy Razon, son of Lal Miah, mercilessly, leaving him critically injured.
