VGF’s cash has been distributed among needy people as an Eid gift to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on the occasion of the upcoming holy Eid-ul-Fitr.
The cash was distributed at the council office on Wednesday (April 5) morning by the Kapasia Union Parishad.
Chairman of Kapasia Union Parishad and President of Upazila Juba League Sakhawat Hossain Pradhan presided over the cash distribution function of VGF as the chief guest. Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mosa: Ismat Ara was present as the inaugural speaker.
Upazila Cooperative Officer Mohammad Golam Morshed Mridha and various leaders and activists including Union Parishad Secretary and UP members were present at the time.
Upazila Project Implementation Officer Shafiur Rahman Joardar said a total of 21,452 Eid gifts were given to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in Kapasia Upazila.
450 rupees of VGF cash will be distributed among the helpless and impoverished families. Following this, the cash has been distributed in Kapasia and Sanmania Union Parishads today.
Kapasia Union Parishad Chairman Sakhawat Hossain Pradhan said VGF cash distribution of Tk 450 was distributed among 3220 helpless low-income people of Kapasia Union Parishad under the supervision of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s Eid gift and local MP Simin Hossain Rimi.
