A van (46) was stabbed to death by some alleged unidentified assailants at Mogra-Badamtala area within Karapara Union Parishad under Sadar Uoazila in bagerhat district at Sunday night (at about 11 pm). Later the miscreants fled away with the battery run van, according to a delayed report received here The ill-fate van puller was identified as Ishaq Hawladar, was the son of one Abzal Hawladar of village Badamtala within the same union. Md. Mahatab Uddin, Officer-in-charge of Bagerhat Model PS told the newsmen with the reference of the locals, at the night Ishaq Hawladar was returning home by his van and when he reached the placed of occurrence the alleged miscreants all on a sudden fell on him, stabbed him fatally with share knives and fled away with the van. Some locals recovered the injured van puller and sent him to Bagerhat Sadar Hospital where the physicians on duty declared him dead. After completing the postmortem examination the van puller his dead body was handed over to the members of his family.
