Uzbekistan emerged Group-A champions in the AFC U-19 Championship Qualifiers with all win record beating hosts Bangladesh by 4-0 goals in the last group match at Bangabandhu National Stadium here on Tuesday.Despite the day’s defeat, Bangladesh finished group runners-up securing four points from three matches while Uzbekistan clinched the group title collecting full nine points from three matches.In the day’s match, Uzbek forward Doston Ibragimov fired home from a goal mouth melee in the very 2nd minute of the match (1-0). Kodikulov Sanjar doubled the lead in the 62nd minute, utilizing a square pass of Doston Ibrgaimov from the right flank (2-0). Substitute forward Abdixolkov Bobir scored the 3rd goal by a placing shot after beating Bangladesh goalie Anisur Rahman in the 80th minute, capitalizing on a through pass from midfielder Kodirkulov Sanja (3-0). Sukhpob Nurulloev sealed the fate of the match scoring the 4th goal by a header, off a Kodirkulov Sanjar cross from the left flank in the stoppage time of the match (4-0). Earlier, Uzbekistan rout Bhutan by 7-0 goals in tournament opener while they defeated Sri Lanka by 3-0 goals.
