The biannual meeting and election of Uttar Tangail Journalists’ Forum have been held at Aniknagar Park Auditorium recently.
Prof Jainal Abedin, Correspondent of the daily Ittafaq presided over the meeting. Adv Jafar Ahmed, President and Kazi Zakerul Moula, Secretary of Tangail Press Club were present as Chief and special guest respectively.
Later, a new committee was formed making veteran journalists Prof Jainal Abedin as President for the third time consecutively and Mollah Mosfiqur Rahman Milon Secretary for the second time.
Mentionable, the Uttar Tangail Journalists’ Forum was formed by the journalists of Dhonpur, Madhupur, Gopalpur , Bhuiypur, Gatail and Kalihati Upazila.
