A two-member delegation led by Jennifer Little, a Theatre Teacher of Franklin Township Board of Education, USA called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof AAMS Arefin Siddique on Saturday at his office of the university.
Other member of the delegation was Scott Jackson, a Theatre Teacher of Broadway, USA, according to a press release.
Chairman of DU Theatre and Performance Studies Department Sudip Chakroborthy was also present on the occasion.
During the meeting they discussed matters of mutual interest specially development of theatre and performance education in Bangladesh.
They also discussed possibilities of undertaking joint collaborative academic and research programmes on theatre between DU and Franklin Township Board of Education, USA.
The DU VC thanked the guests for their visit to the university.
