Denise S. Sharif, Director of the College of Advancing and Professional Studies and Musa Sharif, Senior Lecturer of the University of Massachusetts Boston, the USA called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof AAMS Arefin Siddique on Wednesday at the latter’s office on the campus.
Dr. Emran Kabir Chowdhury and Dr. Hossain Uddin Shekhar, Professors of the Department of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology of DU were present on the occasion.
During the meeting, they discussed the possibilities of undertaking joint collaborative academic and research programs on medical science and nursing by the University of Dhaka and the University of Massachusetts Boston, the USA.
They also discussed the possibilities of introducing joint PhD and Masters programmes at the two universities. They have agreed to sign a MoU in this regard soon.
