Dan Mozena, the US Ambassador to Bangladesh paid a visit to Z H Sikder University of Science & Technology (ZFSUST), Madhupur, Kartikpur, Bhedergonj, Shariatpur on Tuesday.
Mozena was accompanied with his team including his wife Grace Mozena, Janina Jaruzelski, USAID Mission Director, Parveen Haque Sikder, Vice Chairperson, Board of Trustees, ZHSUST, Chowdhury Kamal Ibne Yousuf, Former Minister, People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Prof Dr Syed Rashidul Hasan, Vice Chancellor, (Designated), ZHSUST. Mamtazul Haque, Registrar, ZHSUST, Nasim Sikder, Treasurer, ZHSUST, Salahuddin Khan, Dean, Faculty of Engineering, Rick Haque Sikder, Member, Board of Trustee, ZHSUST and AKM Safiqur Rahman, Managing Director, National Bank Ltd.
The US ambassador planted trees in the campus. He made a short speech for the faculty members, guests and local elites and replied various academic questions of the students.
