Sheikh Arif Bulbon :Lux superstar Urmila Srabonti Kar has come into limelight again to act in several TV plays in last Eid-ul-Fitr. In fact, now she is passing busy times with her father Brig Gen (Retd) Ananta Kar rather than giving time to herself. Her father is physically ill and he is now at CMH in the capital. Urmila is basically taking care of her father right now.While talking in this regard Urmila told this correspondent, “My father is so sick. Everybody pray for his early recovery.”Urmila acted three drama serials are now waiting to telecast. These are: Shahiduzzaman Selim’s Ek Jhak Mrito Jonakir Golpo, Rahmatullah Tuhin’s Gontobbyo Niruddesh and Sakhawat Manik’s Meghey Dhaka Shohor. From August these serials are expected to be aired. Urmila said, “I have acted in three different roles in these three serials. Viewers will watch me in different ways in these serials. Now I ma waiting for telecasting these serials because I am very much optimistic with these.”In last Eid, Urmila’s acting in three plays was highly appreciated by the viewers. These were: Ruman Runi’s Target 007, Ali Fida Ekram Tojo’s Vanity Bag and Aniruddho Russell’s Neyamot-er Keyamot. Meanwhile, to act in sequel of a serial titled Neyamot-er Keyamot Urmila is going to Bangkok on August 8, she said. Monsurul Rahman Chanchal, Pantho Shahriar and Rudra Mahfuz have written stories of serials Ek Jhak Mrito Jonakir Golpo, Gontobbyo Niruddesh and Meghey Dhaka Shohor respectively.Therefore, in Eid, Urmila was also highlighted to act in several other plays under the direction of Imraul Rafat, Dipankar Dipon, Saiful Islam Mannu, Monjurul Haque Milon, among others. Urmila acted two serials – Ali Fida Ekram Tojo’s directed Family Pack and Himel Ashraf’s directed Ekdin Chhuti Hobey – are being aired on NTV now.
