Among the viewers of small screen demand of popular actress of present generation Urmila Srabonti Kar is being increased day by day. In last Eid, she acted in much talked plays.
As a part of its continuation, casting Urmila Manager (Programme) of Channel i Anonna Ruma is making a short film titled Ei Shohorey.
Story, script and dialogue are also written by Ruma. By acting in this film Urmila for the second time is working in short film. But while contacting with its director Ruma she did not want to disclose anything about the story of her film.
In the short film Urmila is acting in role of a fashion designer named Shreyoshi. While talking in this regard she told this correspondent, “After Lux-Channel i Superstar contest I was brought up with Anonna Ruma Apu’s love and affection. Under her direction I hosted Tarokakothon, Gaan-ey Gaan-ey Sokal Shuru and Gaan-er Utsab. I have a good relationship with her from soul. When that person showed her keen interest to cast me in her directed work I couldn’t disagree to act. Shooting of the short film has already started and I am really enjoying to work.”
Anonna Ruma shared her feelings by this way, “I need Urmila for the role in my film. Basically story of the film revolves with the role Shreyoshi. I am really impressed about similarity of her thinking with me. She is acting so well which I have realised properly while working with her in the shooting of the short film.”
Anonna Ruma also informed that the short film will be available on Youtube from August. This film will be screened in different festivals at home and abroad.
Meanwhile, Urmila on her birthday on July 18 got the promotion news of her brother Anonyo Chandra Shekhar Kar. In fact, she became delighted to get the news of her brother getting the promotion to Major post in Army. She lost her father earlier.
It is mentioned that in Eid-ul-Fitr, Urmila acted in a short film titled Aaral with Siam. She has started to take part in shooting of Ei Shohorey on Thursday. On July 24, she will also take part in second day’s shooting, Urmila said.
