A leader of United People’s Democratic Front (UPDF) was shot to death by miscreants in Naniarchar upazila of Rangamati Wednesday (April11).
The deceased was identified as Jony Tonchongya, 32. Witnesses said that Jony earlier beaten two members of Parbatya Chattagram Jana Samhati Samiti (PCJSS) on Tuesday (April 10) noon. He was shot dead by the miscreants after 19 hours of the incident. Naniarchar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abdul Latif said that they will visit the spot.
