Police rounded up chairman of Mekhal union Parishad of Hathazari upazila and joint Convenor Giasuddin of North district Sechchasebok Dal of Chittagong on Saturday night.
Police rounded up him while returning home after attending the protest rally held infront of Hathazari college gate premises .
Upazila BNP arranged the protest rally protesting the killing chatradal convenor of Mirsarai . Hathazari thana police officer in-charge Ismail Hossain told that UP chairman is shouldering two cases of vehicle ransacking during oppositions anarchy and violence earlier and he was arrested on that pending cases. Detained UP chairman sent to court for trial, sources said.
