National Professor Dr. Anisuzzaman asked the university students to engage themselves in carrying out more research works from the graduation tier.
He made the remarks on Wednesday while addressing the concluding and certificate giving ceremony of an eight-day long research course organised by Center for
Advanced Research in Arts and Social Sciences (CARAS) of Dhaka University (DU) on the campus.
Congratulating the participants of the course Anisuzzaman said, “There is no end in the field of research activities. Those who have participated in this research workshop have learned a lot.”
Director of CARAS Dr. Sheikh Abdus Salam presided over the function. The training course was held from November 25 to December 3 at its own auditorium. Renowned teachers and researchers of Dhaka University conducted the course.
A total of 18 students interested in MBA and PhD research from different universities of the country participated in this course. The topics of the training course were research concepts, research instances, theories, literary review, data collection tools, quantitative and qualitative processes, mixed research methods, experimental research, action research, research policies and written research reports.
