Newly appointed Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal Abu Esrar made a courtesy call on President Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban on Sunday.
During the meeting, Abu Esrar expressed gratitude to the President as well as the government for appointing him as the Air chief.
He also apprised the President of the past development activities of the Air Force and sought President’s cooperation in discharging his duties.
The President assured the new Air chief of his cooperation in performing his duties.
Secretaries concerned to the President Office were present. Air Marshal Abu Esrar took over as Chief of the Air Staff on Friday.
