Chittagong-Muscat(Oman) air flight will begin from Chittagong International Airport from April 15 next. The single fare of the route fixed at Tk.22,000 and return journey fare is Tk. 41,500 , airways sources said.
The fare includes all taxes. Three fights will operate in a week on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from Ctg airport and return flights from Muscat airport on Monday , Wednesday and Friday. The flight from Ctg will take off at 10.30 pm and 2.30 pm from Muscat. Meanwhile United Air is operating flight from Dhaka everyday.
At present United Air, a private airliner of Bangladesh is also operating international flights in the routes of Dhaka-Jeddah, Dhaka-Dubai, Dhaka-Kualalumpur, Dhaka-Singapore, Dhaka-Bangkok, Dhaka-Kathmandu, Dhaka-Kolkata and Chittagong -Kolkata .Besides UA is also operating all domestic flights in Bangladesh, airways sources said.
