An unidentified youth was killed and four others were injured in a road accident at Bagerroad area on Sylhet-Tamabil road in Goainghat upazila here on Saturday morning.
The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.
Quoting witnesses, Mizanur Rahman, Tamabil Highway police sergeant said a Tamabil bound microbus hit a tree losing control over the steering, leaving the one dead on the spot and four others injured.
Mizanur Rahman said the injured were admitted to Osmani Medical College Hospital.
