An unidentified youth died after being cut by a train in Bhangura. He is about 30 years old. The incident took place at Bot-tala on the Ishwardi-Dhaka Railway line near Boralbridge Railway Station in Bhangura upazila of Pabna early hour on Saturday.
Locals said that in the morning they saw the body lying on the Railway Line. Police recovered the body from the spot at noon.
Sirajganj GRP police SI Aminul Islam confirmed the incident and said the identity of the deceased could not be ascertained as his face was injured. The body has been sent to the morgue for autopsy.
