University Grants Commission (UGC) of Bangladesh on Wednesday handed over JSPS (Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS)-RONPAKU medal to two JSPS-RONPAKU Fellows for obtaining PhD degree under JSPS.
UGC Chairman (State Minister) Prof Dr AK Azad Chowdhury, in his presidential speech congratulated the fellows for obtaining PhD degree, a press release said here.
The medal recipients are Dr Kabirul Bashar, Associate Prof, Department of Zoology, Jahangirnagar University and Dr Sayeda Khaled Manager, Palli Karma-Sahaok Foundation (PKSF).
UGC members and high officials were present on the occasion.
