City Desk :
The University Grants Commission (UGC) has finalized the draft of a blended learning policy so that Bangladesh is not left behind in higher education.
The draft was finalized on Wednesday at a virtual meeting of the committee who have been working to make policy to update the teaching-learning system in higher education by coordinating onsite and online education, said a press release in the city.
The final draft of the policy titled ‘Blended Learning for Bangladesh’ will be sent to the ministry of education for the approval of the government, the release added.
The policy has been made to coordinate onsite and online education, so that universities can continue academic programmes and courses in a post Covid-19 era, according to the press release.
If any student gets deprived from the opportunity of participating in-person classes, he or she will be able to make up the losses from recorded classes as there will be plenty of multimedia content, said Prof Dr Bishwajit Chanda while addressing the meeting.
