University Grants Commission (UGC) Chairman Professor Abdul Mannan on Sunday left Dhaka for India to attend the second Convocation of South Asian University.
The convocation will be held today in New Delhi, India, said a UGC press release.
Professor Mannan is scheduled to return home tomorrow.
South Asian University (SAU) is an international university established by the governments of the eight member countries of the South Asian Association for Regional Co-operation (SAARC).
SAU started its activities from the academic year 2010 and now it is functioning from New Delhi, the release added.
