University Grant Commission (UGC) Chairman Professor Abdul Mannan has been honoured with ‘MTC Global Rooshikumar Pandya Life Time Achievement Award’ and ‘Professor Mobassher Ali Gold Medal-2016’ for his outstanding contribution to the country’s education sector.
MTC-Global, India conferred this honor to Prof Mannan for his special contribution to education especially at tertiary level, said a UGC press release on Sunday.
Prof Mannan will present a key-note paper on higher education as the Chief Guest at the inaugural ceremony of the international MCT Global’s
Annual Convention to be held in Bangalore, India on September 16, 2016.
Professor Emeritus of Dhaka University Dr. Anisuzzaman also has been honored with ‘Professor Mobassher Ali Gold Medal-2016’ for his remarkable contribution to higher education, the release added.
