Police recovered the throat-slit body of an Uber driver inside his car in city’s Uttara on Thursday night.
The deceased has been identified as Arman alias Aman, 37, a driver of ride-sharing company Uber.
Arman was a resident of the city’s Mirpur-11.
He was the son of late Abdul Hakim, from Fateh Mohammadpur in Ishwardi of Pabna.
Locals spotted the body inside a car parked in front of House-52, Road-16 under Sector-14 they also informed the police.
Later, police recovered the body, said Faruk Islam, Sub-Inspector (SI) of Uttara West Police Station.
The body was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) morgue for autopsy.
