UAP Law holds freshers’ reception

Department of Law and Human Rights, University of Asia Pacific, was organized a Fresher’s Reception Program: Spring 2022 on 28th July at the auditorium of the University. All Clubs of the Department of Law and Human Rights, UAP, are representing in this programme.
Professor Dr. Baqui Khalily, Dean of School of Law, was the Chief Guest in the ceremony and Dr. Chowdhury Ishraq Ahmed Siddiqui, Head of the Department of Law and Human Rights, was present as a Special Guest.
All the club convener and distinguished teachers, students and staff of the Department of Law and Human Rights of Asia Pacific University were present. At the beginning of the event, the UAP Law photography club (UAPLPC) screened a video documentary highlighting various achievements and activities of the club. Ms. Nazia Wahab is the club convener of UAPLPC. To promote creativity via photography, sharing and criticizing the photos of peers, educating and improving technical abilities, and spreading passion for photography across the community, The UAP Law Photography Club (UAPLPC) is committed to grow a photographers’ community among the students of UAP, Department of Law and Human Rights. UAPLPC’s mission is to promote, support, and enable members to pursue and achieve national and global recognition and awards both as a club and as individual members of the organization.
Back in 2019, UAPLPC started its journey with an aim/ mission to build up a photographer’s community in the Department of Law and Human Rights. The Chief Guest, Professor Dr M.A. Baqui Khalily, Dean, School of Law and the Head of the Department, Dr Chowdhury Ishrak Ahmed Siddiky, awarded the award to the winner. Later, the Chief Guest, in his speech, “Invited the fresher to participate in club activities.
Then all the clubs display their club activities. UAP Law Orators Debating club organized a show debate and Moot Court Club organized a demo moot, which gave Fresher’s an idea about mooting. In the end, the Cultural club enlivened the event with songs, dances and poetry recitations.
The Head of the Department, Dr. Chowdhury Ishrak Ahmed Siddiky, delivered his speech. He cordially welcomed all the newly admitted students to the Department of Law and Human Rights of the University of Asia Pacific.
