U-23 booters leave for Nepal today

The Bangladesh Uunder-23 national football team leaves for Nepal today (Sunday) to play their second preparation match against their Nepalese under-23 football team scheduled to be held on Tuesday (July 11) in Kathmandu.
The under-23 booters will play their third and last preparation match against Sri Lankan Army SC on Friday (July 14) in Dhaka.
Earlier, the Bangladesh U-23 national football team had a good start to their preparation for the AFC U-23 Championship Qualifiers as they recorded a solitary goal triumph over Federation Cup champions Abahani in the first of the three practice matches held on Friday last at Bangabandhu National Stadium.
Bangladesh have been drawn in group E along with Jordan, Palestine and Tajikistan of the AFC U-23 Championship Qualifiers. The team will start their tournament campaign taking on Jordan on July 19 and meet Tajikistan on July 21 before playing their last match of the group against hosts Palestine on July 23.
