The Bangladesh U-19 soccer team left here for Tajikistan last morning to participate in the AFC U-19 Championship-2018 Qualifiers scheduled to be held on October 31 to November 8.
Pitted in group-B, the boys in red and green will play their opening match against host Tajikistan on October 31 and meet the Maldives on November 2.
Bangladesh will play their remaining group matches against Uzbekistan and Sri Lanka on November 6 and 8 respectively. All the matches will be held at Hisor Central Stadium in Hisor.
Earlier talking to the pressmen, the Bangladesh U-19 head coach Mahbub Hossain Roksy expressed his optimism about doing well in the tournament.
He said they have some rising booters in the present squad and they would try to go to the final round of the tournament through acquiring good results and playing good brand of soccer.
