U-16 Women’s team ready for Myanmar Test

Motivated Bangladesh face host Myanmar in their second match of the AFC U-16 Women’s Championship Qualifiers-2 scheduled to be held today at Mandalar Thiri Stadium in Myanmar.
The match kicks off at 5 pm (BST).
Bangladesh team’s head coach Golam Robbani Choton said the match against Myanmar will be very contesting as the hosts are strong opponents. He also expressed his high hope to go to the final round of the tournament.
Bangladesh will play their next match against strong China on March 3.
The four-team group, which also features China – the strongest team on paper – and hosts Myanmar, will see two teams advance to the final round.
Earlier, the girls in red and green dumped their Philippines counterparts by 10-0 goals in the Group B match. Thanks to a brilliant hat-trick from striker Tahura Khatun while Shamsunnahar Jr and Anuching also scored a brace while Shamsunahar Sr., Nila and Maria Manda scored one goal each for Bangladesh.
