Two under-construction workers died in the collapse of the crane’s hook while working in a building at Rupganj in Narayanganj.
The incident took place at Ruposhi within Tarab municipality around 10:30 am on Thursday.
The deceased were identified as Jewel, 26, and
Tushar, 27. A consumer Products Company was constructing the building.
Sazaul Islam, Sub-Inspector (SI) 0f Rupganj Police Station, said that the workers fell from the second floor of a five-storey building. They were working outside the building on a crane.
The injured workers were rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where the duty doctor declared them dead.
