UNB, Panchagarh :
Police arrested two suspected members of a robber gang while fleeing after committing robbery at South Satkhamar in Atwari upazila on Friday night.
The arrestees were identified as Shafiqul Islam, 38, son of Rahmat Ali of Babu Para, and Nazrul Islam, 37, son of Mujibor Rahman of Kamarpara in Syedpur upazila of Nilphamari district.
Quoting locals, police said a gang of robbers stormed a house in South Satkhamar area and looted valuables after keeping the house inmates hostage at gunpoint around 9.00 pm.
