A trial court in Barisal sentenced two siblings to death for killing five including their sister and four nieces and another three associates of the killers sentenced to life imprisonment on Tuesday.
The two accused were Shahidul Islam Shahed Boiragi and his absconding brother suspended police officer Shahjahan Boiragi. Life term convicted three were Sultan Khan, Kayum Khan and Abul Bashar.
All of them were from Khalishar Uttarpar under Vashanchar union of Mehendiganj upazila in Barisal District.
They were also fined Tk. 5 thousand each or to serve more six-month imprisonment in default.
