Two newly appointed judges of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court were sworn in on Thursday. Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain administered the oath-taking ceremony held in the Judges’ Lounge of the Supreme Court.
The new judges are Justice Tariq ul Hakim and Justice Obaidul Hassan. Both the judges had served the High Court Division for a long time.
President Md Abdul Hamid, on Wednesday, appointed them in the Appellate Division as per the Constitution, taking the total number of Appellate Davison judges to eight.
