Two motorcycle riders were killed in a road accident at Aladipur village under Bagarpara upazila in the district today.
The deceased were identified as Rafiq, 30, and Khair Biswas, 28.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Bagarpara thana Kayum Sardar said the accident occurred when their motorcycle suddenly lost control over its steering and dashed a roadside tree while they were going to Barra village under Bagarpara upazila from Jessore Sadar upazila this morning.
Following the accident, Khair Biswas died on the spot and Rafiq succumbed to his injuries at Jessore General Hospital.
