Two more matches of Walton Home Appliance Victory Day Handball Tournament (men’s & woman’s division) were held on Wednesday at the Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali Handball Stadium in the city.
In the day’s men’s division match, Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) managed a hard-fought 32-30 goals victory over Bangladesh Police after the first half was locked by 14-14 goals.
In the woman’s division, Bangladesh Jute Mills Corporation defeated Bangladesh Ansar by 27-15 goals after dominating the first half by 13-8 goals.
The finals of the men’s and woman’s divisions of the tournament will be held tomorrow at the same venue.
