Two matches of Walton Victory Day Hockey Competition were held at the Maulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium in the city on Sunday. In the day’s first match, Bangladesh Army defeated Bangladesh Police by 7-2 goals. In the day’s second match, Bangladesh Navy beat Bangladesh Air Force by 3-1 goals. The hockey meet is being held to mark the berth centenary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
