Customs Intelligence and Investigation Directorate (CIID) in separate drives seized two luxurious cars from city’s Mehedibag and Alongkar areas yesterday morning.
CIID officials on secret information recovered a luxurious car of “Range Rover” model worth about Taka five crore from city’s Mehedibag area and another car of “Porsche Cayenne Magnum” model worth about Taka six crore from Alongkar area, CIID sources said. Owners of the cars could not show any legal registration and import documents in favour of the cars, the sources said, adding that the cars might have been imported under carnet facilities.
