Under the auspices of Electrical and Computer and Communication Engineering Faculty of Chittagong University of Engineering &Technology , an international seminar titled “The International Conference on Electrical, Computer and Communication Engineering (ECCE 2017)” began from yesterday (Thursday) at Cox’sbazar Best Western Hotel auditorium .
The 3-day long conference was formally inaugurated at 11 am yesterday by the vice chancellor of the university Prof.Dr. Rafiqul Alam as chief guest. The chief guest in his brief deliberations said information technology is the strong weapons of the developing countries to face the global challenges . He a number of the developing countries achieved advancement using the IT/ICT and software export and Bangladesh can achieve its future goal by availing the advantages of IT device in the global market.
He also said IT sector will play important role in achieving the Digital Bangladesh and middle income country by 2021. Participants from USA, UK, Netherlands, Japan , South Korea, and India joined the conference, CUET sources said.
