Two solar panel installation workers were electrocuted at Baneshwar Bazar area under Puthiya Upazila of the district on Tuesday night, police and locals said.
The deceased were identified as Anisur Rahman, 28, son of Ansar Ali of Shibpur village under the same upazila and Hafizur Rahman, 29, son of Ajahar Ali of Aowpara village under Ishwardi Upazila in Pabna district.
Hafizur Rahman, Officer-in-Charge of Puthiya Police Station, said they met the tragic accident when they came in contact with a 33,000 KV live electric wire.
