Two motorcyclists were killed and another was injured seriously as two motorcycles collided head on at Bahalabari square under Shibganj Upazila in Chapainawabganj district on the Chapainawabganj-Sonamasjid highway on Friday afternoon.
The deceased were identified as Md. Dollar, 25, son of late Rafiqul Islam of Selimabad village and Md. Raju, 28, son of Azad Ali of Jalmachmari village both under Shibganj upazila of the district.
The injured is Shahin Ali, 18, son of Babul Hoque of Charpanka village under the same upazila.
OC of Shibganj thana Habibul Islam said, the accident took place at around 4-30 pm. Raju died on the spot. As seriously injured Dollar and Shahin were rushed to the Chapainawabganj Sadar Hospital, the doctor on duty declared Dollar dead.
