Police rounded up two local leaders of Jubo League leaders from Halishahar area on Friday night last following the clash of two feudal groups of the ruling party youth front . The leaders are – city Juboleague member Saleh Ahmed and Jubo League leader Nooruddin Milton. Officer- in-charge of Halishahar Thana police Md. Shahjahan Kabir told this correspondent that after breaking out sporadic clash between the two groups of Jubo Leagues at about 10 pm on Friday , police swooped in the spot and caught them from the spot.
The clash occurred with sharp lethal weapons, police sources said. The clash continued about half an hour. An injured Jubo League activist Md. Ripon filed a case before the Haliahshar thana immediately against them. The arrested JL leaders sent to court custody, police sources said.
