Chittagong Bureau :
Police rounded up two persons with fake currency notes from Anandipur under Halishahar thana in city on Saturday night.
They were arrested from their residences.
The detained are Masud(22) and Morshed (25) .
Police acting on secret information , police conducted their their residences and recovered fake notes of Tk.500 each amounting to Tk.1.66 lakh.
Total 332 notes of Tk.500 each recovered. A case in connection filed with the Halishahar thana, sources said.
A vested quarters are trying to transact these fake notes keeping ahead of Eid shopping , police suspecting.
