Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in a drive arrested two suspected peddlers along with 800 pieces of Yaba tablet from Naf Panjapara in Sadar upazila on Thursday evening.
A team of Rab-7, led by Major Md Ruhul Amin conducted the drive around 7:30pm and arrested Syed Alam, 34, resident of Dakhshin Pahartali village of Sadar upazila and Md Abdul Shukkur, 32, resident of Kanjarpara of Teknaf upazila along with the Yaba tablets worth Tk 3.20lakh, said a press release.
The elite force also recovered Tk 81,500 from their possessions.
