Bakalia thana police under CMP rounded up two persons allegedly involved with the trafficking of intoxicated yaba from Shah Amanat bridge area under bakalia thana on Friday midnight . police on searching their bodies recovered 4500 pieces of yaba from their possession. The detained yaba traffickers are Al Amin and Nurul Islam. Al Amin hails from Bhairab district and nurul islam from Teknaf of Coxsbazar. Bakalia thana officer incharge Md. Mohsin told that these two drug peddlers came from Teknaf by Saudia paribahan at about 3 pm . Acting on secret information, thana police conducted raid in the bridge bus stand area and managed to round up them instantly. A case under narcotics act has been lodged with the concerned thana, sources said.
