UNB, Kushtia :
An unidentified young girl was found dead in the play ground of Kushtia Government College in Sadar upazila yesterday.
Being informed by local people, police recovered the body, aged about 25, from the play ground in the morning and sent it to Kushtia General Hospital, said Rabiul Islam, sub-inspector of Kushtia Model Police Station.
Nasir Uddin, officer-in-charge of Kushtia Model Police Station, said the body bore injury marks on her neck and chin. Someone might have dumped the body here sometime on Tuesday night.
The reason behind the killing could not be known immediately.
UNB from Pabna adds: An unidentified woman was found dead in a water body in Baukola area of Atghoria upazila early Tuesday.
Anwarul Islam, officer-in-charge of Atghoria Police Station, said that locals spotted the body of the woman, aged around 20, in the water body early in the morning and informed police.
Later, police recovered the body and sent it to Pabna General Hospital morgue for autopsy.
