Chittagong Bureau :
Members of Bangladesh Coast Guard (BCG) detained two fishing trawlers, which were brought illegally from Thailand on Thursday.
The BCG sources said two importers- Tazuddin and Taiubullah brought the two fishing trawlers, Shah Amanat MT- 31 and FB Sunera-1, from Thailand without complying of government regulations.
On secret information, a team of the BCG, east zone, detained the trawlers from the Karnaphuli River and handed them over to the customs authority, the sources added.
