Pagla Thana police in a drive arrested two drug peddlers along with 201 yaba tablets from Kandi Chowrasta of Moshakhali Union under Pagla Thana of Gafargaon Upazila in Mymensingh district on Saturday night.
Two drug peddlers are Alamgir Mondol(38) son of late Motaleb Mondol, a man from Boldi village of Gafargaon Upazila and Rubel Mea(32) son of Aftab Uddin from Bhorpur village of Sreepur Upazila under Gazipur distric.
Police sources that a team of Pagla Thana police conducted a drive in Kandi Chowrasta area at around 10.45 pm, and arrested the two peddlers with yaba tablets.
Officer-in-charge (OC) of Pagla Thana Shahinuzzaman confirmed the incident. They have been sent to prison.
