Two drug dealers held in Lohagara

In a separate operation in Lohagara, police arrested two drug dealers along with 15,000 yaba pills. A team of Lohagara police on Monday night searched a vehicle on the Chittagong-Cox’s Bazar highway in front of the Chunati Range Forest Officer’s Office and arrested them. The arrested are Mohammad Ujjal Mia, son of late Nannu Mia of North Ghagoa area of Gaibandha and Nesar Ahmed, son of Monirul Islam of Jatrabari area of Dhaka.
Police said, On Monday night, a team of police led by Lohagara Police Station SI Golam Kibria searched a vehicle on the Chittagong-Cox’s Bazar highway in front of the Chunati Range Forest Officer’s office. At that time, they arrested them. Private cars used in smuggling yaba were seized. They were handed over to the Chittagong court on Tuesday afternoon.
Lohagara Police Station OC Zak Hossain Hossain told that separate cases have been filed against the two arrested drug dealers under the Narcotics Control Act at Lohagara Police Station. He said they were handed over to the Chittagong court on Tuesday afternoon.
