Two persons died of electrocution in Gournadi and Hizla upazilas under Barishal district on early Sunday.
Among them Nazmul Hossain, 26, of Kasemabad under Gournadi upazila was electrocuted when came in touch of electrified fence installed surrounding his crop land to prevent attack of rats on Saturday late night.
He was declared as dead after brought to Gournadi upazila health complex on early Sunday and dead body handed over to family members lodging a case of unnatural death, said Golam Sarwar, officer in charge of Gournadi police station.
In another incident Siddikur Rahman Khan, 31, a worker of cutting sold trees, was electrocuted on Saturday night when he came in touch of a branch of a tree fell on live electric supply line at Induria village under Memania union of Hizla upazila.
He was died at the spot, confirmed by local upazila health complex, said Aminul Islam, upazila nirbahi officer of Hizla.
