Two dead bodies were recovered from separate points of Osmani Nagar Thana under Sylhet district on Monday.
Deceased were identified as Montu Deb, 42, son of Girija Kanto Deb of Eilashpur village, and Kachhai Mia, 45, son of late Tair Ullah of Brammon village.
Police source said on information Osmani Nagar Thana police recovered Montu’s dead body from the deceased’s tea stall near Thana at 9:00am while Kachhai’s body was recovered from under a coconut tree at his residence at Bramon village at the same time.
Officer-in-Charge of Osmani Nagar Police Station Md Mursalin said the bodies were sent to Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital Morgue for autopsy.
