BNP Chittagong south unit general secretary Gazi Shahjahan Jewel and its Chittagong north unit member secretary Qazi Abdullah Al Hasan have been temporarily relieved of all level party posts.
The punitive action was taken against them following a specific allegation of their involvement in activities that go against the party discipline, said a
press release on Wednesday.
It also said the duo will not be able to engage in any organisational activities of the party from now on.
Besides, BNP’s organising secretary (Chittagong division) Mahbubur Rahman Shamim has been directed to carry out his duty properly with caution.
