Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) suspended two detectives for “breaching” discipline.
They are Sub-inspector Ujjal Kanti Das and Assistant Sub-inspector Anisur Rahman.
CMP Commissioner Md Iqbal Bahar told journalists on
Monday that punitive actions would be taken against them after an investigation, but he refused to elaborate on the reason for suspension.
